• The cookie policy has been prepared in accordance with the obligations arising from the amendment to the Telecommunications Law, which came into effect on March 22, 2013. These obligations are similarly implemented throughout Europe as a result of the implementation of the European directive.

This cookie policy applies to services offered within this site (Service). The Service does not automatically collect any information except for the information contained in cookie files.

Cookies (so-called “ciasteczka”) are computer data, in particular text files, which are stored on the end device of the Service User and are intended for using the Service’s websites. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, the time of storing them on the end device, and a unique number. The entity placing cookie files on the end device of the Service User and gaining access to them is the operator of this site.

Cookies are used for:

  1. Customizing the content of websites to the User’s preferences and optimizing the use of websites; in particular, these files allow recognizing the device of the Service User and properly displaying the website, tailored to his individual needs.
  2. Creating statistics that help understand how Service Users use websites, which allows improving their structure and content.

Two basic types of cookies are used within the Service: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary files that are stored on the end device of the Service User until logging out, leaving the website, or turning off the software (web browser). Persistent cookies are stored on the end device of the Service User for the time specified in the cookie file parameters or until they are deleted by the User.

The following types of cookies are used within the Service:

  1. Essential cookies, enabling the use of services available within the Service, e.g., authentication cookies used for services that require authentication within the Service.
  2. Cookies used to ensure security, e.g., used to detect fraud in the field of authentication within the Service.
  3. Performance cookies, enabling the collection of information on how Service Users use websites.
  4. Functional cookies, enabling the User to remember selected settings and personalization of the User interface, e.g., in terms of the selected language or region from which the User comes, the font size, the appearance of the website, etc.
  5. Advertising cookies, enabling the delivery of advertising content more tailored to the interests of Users.

In many cases, software used for browsing websites (web browser) allows the storage of cookies on the end device of the Service User by default. Service Users can change their cookie settings at any time. These settings can be changed, in particular, in such a way as to block the automatic handling of cookies in the web browser settings or to inform about their every placement in the Service User’s device. Detailed information about the possibilities and ways of handling cookies is available in the software settings (web browser).

The operator of the Service informs that restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some of the functionalities available on the Service’s websites.

Cookie files placed in the end device of the Service User may also be used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the operator of the Service.

More information about cookies is available at www.allaboutcookies.org or in the Help section of the web browser menu.
